5 Hacks To Make Your Strapless Summer Dresses Comfortable

Do you know why most women put on strapless dresses during summer? One reason is for comfort and reducing sweat. The other prominent rationale is because these dresses are super flattery. Actually, 75% of women who wed each year put on strapless wedding gowns! Do not give up on these wonderful strapless sundresses as you embrace the warm weather by applying the following tips.

Never Go Braless

With a strapless dress, you can decide on a strapless bra. A bra enhances the shape of the bodice and helps with keeping the dress at a close fit. The worst mistake you can do is to wear a bra with straps inside your strapless gown: it is downright silly. A backless and strapless bra definitely gives your chest an upgrade.

Rubber strips
Silicone rubber strips running along the top seam are useful features that offer more comfort. They give ample resistance against the skin and the possibility of the dress falling is minimized. It is very annoying to keep on tugging on a beautiful strapless maxi dress and this rubber strips should be your friend if you like the strapless way. Rubber sticks to the skin and doesn’t cause stickiness as in a tape.

The Boning

Tubal design of a strapless dress does not hug the chest properly. A dress with ample boning fitted at the bodice is the right way to go strapless.  It is more structured and very much ideal for hourglass body figures. The boning prevents falling of the dress.

Pining

If the tape runs low, you may use safety pins. This trick works well as you can pin up the bra to the strapless sundress. Very simple and quick, and you are good to go. Ensure that the safety pins are inside the dress so that you don’t create an awkward look. A good friend can help you with this.

Underneath T-shirt

T-shirt material holds up efficiently against the skin. It is a good way to put an extra element to your looks. Turtlenecks can be worn underneath strapless gowns and they are perfectly fine. But you need a dress with no chiffon layers or beads because patterns and embellishments do well for strapless designs. The top however must have a contrasting color for instance a black and white velvet or combine navy ad fuchsia.

These dresses are ideal for flaunting toned shoulders and allow versatility when it comes to accessories. If you can make it through a fun day strapless, thumbs up! Most women have to constantly pull the dresses up and this only makes the dress loose and more troublesome.
